About Me

Designing with Joy: A Journey Through Creativity and Craft

There’s something magical about transforming a space — not just visually, but emotionally. For me, interior design has never been about trends or perfection. It’s about creating spaces that feel alive, full of texture, warmth, and story.

I fell in love with nature at a young age, which naturally evolved into a passion for photography. I’ve always been drawn to the details and imperfections found in the natural world — the way light filters through leaves, the organic repetition of patterns, the subtle contrast of colour and form. These elements continue to inspire every aspect of my design process.

My work is rooted in biophilic design — a philosophy that celebrates our innate connection to nature. Whether it’s through the use of raw, tactile materials or forms that echo the natural landscape, I aim to bring the outdoors in, creating spaces that feel grounding, restorative, and quietly luxurious.

I’m endlessly inspired by the honest beauty of timber, stone, and aged metals. There’s a sense of calm in embracing the imperfect — the natural grain, the weathered finish, the way light interacts with texture. And it’s in those considered choices — a soft curve, a shadow, a tonal harmony — where design becomes something deeper than decoration. It becomes emotion.

My creative process is intuitive. I don’t believe in over-designing. Instead, I allow the materials, the light, and the feeling I want to evoke to guide me. Whether I’m styling a space, developing a lighting piece, or exploring a new concept, I design with presence, purpose, and joy.

Design, to me, is not about impressing — it’s about inviting. It’s about creating environments that are not only beautiful, but nourishing — spaces that help us feel more connected to ourselves, to each other, and to the natural world.

And when it’s done with heart, you can feel it the moment you step in.
